Insights

AI-generated recommendations to improve your brand's online presence, grouped by channel and prioritised by impact and effort.

An insight is an AI-generated recommendation to improve your brand’s online presence. Each one names a problem it found in your data and proposes what to do about it. Insights are grouped by channel and prioritised by impact and effort, so you can start with the recommendations that give the most return for the least work.

Open Insights in the navigation rail. The rail icon carries a badge with the number of open insights. The Dashboard also shows an Insights card with the open count and a short list of recent recommendations.

The Insights section has three tabs:

  • List — every insight, with filters, to review and act on.
  • Calendar — insight activity per day, with the insights behind it.
  • Timeline — your insights interleaved with the raw events they draw on: AI mentions, AI citations, SERP movements, social posts, and website changes. Select an insight to see the evidence behind it. See Read the insights timeline.

Beside the filters, the List tab shows Next insights: {weekday}, the day the next weekly batch arrives. A project that has no insights yet shows the banner Your first insights arrive {weekday} on the Insights page and on the Dashboard instead.

GripIQ generates insights once a week, on Monday, for the previous seven days. Four channels are analysed separately:

Channel What the weekly analysis looks at
Web Sitemap changes, summaries, and content categories
Social Social posts, engagement metrics, and text analysis
Keywords Keyword rankings, search volumes, and search result positions
AI AI prompt answers mentioning your brands, with sentiment and tone analysis

For every channel, your own brand’s data and your competitors’ data are analysed side by side. Your project context is added as well: the project name, goals, language, sectors, business models, markets, and summaries of the reference documents attached to the project. The project’s personas are included too: each persona’s name, bio, intent, and the demographic details that are set.

The weekly analysis also remembers what it recommended before. For each channel it looks back at the insights of the last four weeks, and at the insights you rejected, postponed, or scheduled in the last six months, together with the reason you gave when you changed their status. It uses that history as follows:

  • Applied or Scheduled — the recommendation is not proposed again.
  • Rejected or Postponed — the theme does not come back as a new recommendation, unless the reason you gave no longer holds (or, for a postponed insight, its revisit date has passed). The new insight then says what changed.
  • Still open, with no status change — if the same problem shows up again, the new insight says it was already reported and has not been acted on, and gets a higher priority rather than a lower one.

So the reason you enter when you reject or postpone an insight shapes what you get in later weeks.

If there is no data at all for a channel in that week, no insight is generated for it.

Each insight has a title, the Issue it found, the Proposal to fix it, a Priority, an Impact and an Effort rating (Low, Medium, or High), a category, and a status. Under Related items you see the concrete keywords, prompts, social posts, or website changes the recommendation is based on.

The number of insights generated per weekly cycle is capped by your plan, across all four channels together. See Plans and quotas.

If nobody changes the status of an insight for seven days, GripIQ stops generating new ones and shows the banner Weekly insight generation is paused on the Insights page and on the Dashboard. Generation resumes automatically on the next weekly cycle after someone acts on an insight again.
