How-to
Manage your account
Update your name, email address, password, and language, choose your insights email, contact GripIQ, and log out.
Your personal settings live on the Account settings page. Open it from the avatar at the top right of the header: click your initials and select Profile. The same menu holds Language, Contact, and Log out.
Change your name or email address
Section titled “Change your name or email address”- Open Account settings.
- In the Profile information card, edit Name or Email.
- Select Save.
Change your password
Section titled “Change your password”- Open Account settings.
- In the Update password card, fill in Current password, New password, and Confirm password.
- Select Update password.
A password needs at least 15 characters. Length matters more than complexity — a memorable phrase works well. Passwords found in known data breaches are rejected.
If you sign in with Microsoft
Section titled “If you sign in with Microsoft”Accounts managed with Microsoft cannot be edited here. The card shows “Your profile is managed by Azure AD and cannot be changed here”, the fields are disabled, and there is no password card. Change your details in your Microsoft account instead.
To sign in with Microsoft, select Staff at the bottom of the sign-in page, next to Documentation, Status, and Contact.
Reset a forgotten password
Section titled “Reset a forgotten password”- On the sign-in page, select Forgot password.
- Enter your email address and select Send reset link.
- Open the link in the email, then fill in New password and Confirm new password.
Did not receive the verification email?
Section titled “Did not receive the verification email?”On the verification page, select Resend verification email. You then see “A new verification link has been sent to your email address.” If it does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder.
If you created your account yourself, GripIQ sends a Welcome to GripIQ email once you confirm your address. Once you are added to a project, you find its dashboard and insights when you sign in.
Change the language
Section titled “Change the language”GripIQ is available in English, Dutch, German, and French. By default the app follows your browser’s language and falls back to English when the browser asks for another language. To pick a language yourself:
- Click your avatar at the top right of the header and open Language.
- Select English, Nederlands, Deutsch, or Français. Choose Automatic (browser language) to follow your browser again.
The interface switches immediately. The same choice is available on Account settings, in the Language card. Your language choice applies to this account on every device, and numbers, amounts, and dates follow it as well.
Your interface language is separate from your project’s language, which your account manager sets and which the AI uses when it writes prompts, keywords, and insights.
Choose your insights email
Section titled “Choose your insights email”For every project you belong to, you choose which email GripIQ sends you about new insights:
- Open Account settings.
- In the Insights email card, find the project and pick one of:
- Short notice: a short email every other Monday, after the analysis, saying new insights are ready. This is the default.
- Digest: one email a month with Share of Voice, top insights, and competitor changes.
- None: no insights email for that project.
The change is saved as soon as you pick an option, and you see “Insights email setting saved.” If you are not a member of any project yet, the card shows “You are not a member of any project yet.”
Every insights email also ends with an Unsubscribe link. It opens a page where you confirm with Unsubscribe, which sets that one project to None. You can switch it back on in Account settings at any time.
See what changed in GripIQ
Section titled “See what changed in GripIQ”After a GripIQ update, the first page you open shows a What’s new window with the text “Here’s what changed in GripIQ.” and the release notes for each version you have not seen yet. Select Got it to close it. Closing it with the Escape key or by clicking outside the window counts the same: the window does not return until the next release.
To read the notes again later:
- Open Account settings.
- Scroll to the What’s new card (“What changed in the most recent GripIQ updates.”). It lists the last ten releases, newest first, each with its version and date.
- Select a release to expand its notes.
If no release notes are available yet, the card shows “No release notes yet.”
The full history is in Release notes.
Contact GripIQ
Section titled “Contact GripIQ”To ask a question or send a request, click your avatar at the top right of the header and select Contact. On the Contact us form, pick a Subject — Billing & subscription, Technical issue or bug, Feature request or feedback, Account cancellation, or Other — and write your Message. Your Name and E-mail are filled in from your account. Select Send message; you get a reply by email, and a person handles every request within one week.
The same Contact link is at the bottom of the sign-in page, next to Documentation and Status, so you can reach GripIQ, these docs, and the status page even when you cannot sign in.
Request account deletion
Section titled “Request account deletion”- Open Account settings.
- In the Delete account card, select Request account deletion.
- The contact form opens with the subject Account cancellation already selected. Describe your request and select Send message.
A person reviews every request within one week — nothing is deleted automatically.
Log out
Section titled “Log out”Click your avatar at the top right of the header and select Log out. Your session ends immediately on that device.
