Insights metrics
How the attributes and the progress figures on the Insights pages are determined.
Insights are generated weekly, one batch per channel, by an AI model that reads the past week’s monitoring data for your brands and your competitors. The attributes below are assigned by that model when the insight is created; your account manager can adjust them.
Insight channels
Section titled “Insight channels”Every insight belongs to one channel, which names the monitor its data came from: Web, Social, AI or Keywords. The channel filter narrows the list to one of them.
Category
Section titled “Category”The type of improvement the insight addresses. The categories offered depend on the channel:
| Channel | Categories |
|---|---|
| Web | SEO, Content, Technical, CRO, UX |
| Social | Content strategy, Engagement, Sentiment, Competitive |
| Keywords | Rankings, Opportunities, Competitive, Trends |
| AI | Visibility, Sentiment, Competitive, Accuracy |
Impact, Effort and Priority
Section titled “Impact, Effort and Priority”Three separate ratings, each Low, Medium or High.
- Impact is the expected effect on your brand’s performance when the insight is applied.
- Effort is the estimated work to implement it.
- Priority is how urgent it is: high means time-sensitive, low means good to know.
Priority is rated on its own; it is not calculated from impact and effort. The list can be filtered on all three. High-impact insights that are still open are counted as needs attention.
Insight status
Section titled “Insight status”Every insight is in one status: New, Applied, Postponed, Scheduled or Rejected. Postponing asks for a reason; scheduling asks for a date. Each change is recorded with its date, which is what the activity calendar and the progress figure use.
Progress
Section titled “Progress”progress = applied insights / insights matching the current filters × 100Example: 7 applied out of 20 → 35%. The ring also shows the postponed and rejected shares of the same total.
Activity calendar
Section titled “Activity calendar”A six-week grid. Each insight lands on one day: its scheduled date if it has one, otherwise the date of its latest status change, otherwise the date it was created. A day shows how many insights sit on it per status, and per postpone reason.
