Dashboard
Every filter, card, and banner on the GripIQ dashboard, and what each number means.
The dashboard is the landing page of a project and summarises Prompts, Keywords, Socials, and Web in one view. Open it with Dashboard in the navigation rail; the page is its Overview tab.
Blocks load one after another and show a placeholder until their data arrives.
Filters
Section titled “Filters”| Filter | Options | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Date range | Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, Last 6 months, Last year, All time, Custom | Default is Last 30 days. A custom range uses a start and end date. |
The date range applies to the hero, the stat bar, Competitor activity, and Social media. The selection is kept in the page URL, so you can share or bookmark a filtered view.
The top block leads with your own brand’s AI Share of Voice for the selected date range.
| Part | What it shows |
|---|---|
| AI Share of Voice | The share of AI answers in the period that mention your own brand, as a percentage, with the period name beside it. A change against the previous period is shown when there is enough data to compare. |
| Readout | One sentence that sums up the figure, for example “Your brand holds 38% of AI share of voice across 4 models — #2 behind {leader}, with 3 open insights waiting.” When your brand ranks first, it says your brand leads the field. |
| Open insights | A button that opens Insights. |
| Share of Voice per model | Your brand’s share split per AI assistant, including Google AI Mode, with the number of answers per assistant. See Share of Voice per model. |
| Rankings | Brands ranked by visibility, with your own brand marked Own. All rankings opens Prompts. See Rankings. |
Until AI answers are collected, both panels read “No AI answers have been collected yet. Configure prompts to start collecting data.”
Stat bar
Section titled “Stat bar”A row of four figures sits under the hero. The cells are not clickable.
| Cell | Value | Subtitle |
|---|---|---|
| Answers | The number of AI answers collected in the period. See Answers. | The number of AI assistants that answered, shown as “{count} models”. ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI Mode each count once, whichever model version answered. |
| Insights | The number of open insights: those not yet applied or rejected. | “recommendations” |
| Website changes | The number of website changes detected in the period. | The number of competitor brands, shown as “{count} brands”. |
| Social media posts | The number of social media posts collected in the period. | The name of the selected period |
Three cards sit side by side under the stat bar. A card is hidden while it has nothing to show. Each card has a View all link.
| Card | What it shows | View all opens |
|---|---|---|
| Insights | The five most recently published open insights, with their category and impact, and a footer with the number of open and applied insights. Select an insight to open its details, where you can change its status. | Insights |
| Competitor activity | The five most recent website changes on competitor sites in the period, each with a summary and the number of pages added, removed, and modified. Select a website name or a count to open that change. The footer reads “{changes} changes across {brands} competitors”. See Competitor activity. | Competitors |
| Social media | The three posts in the period with the most likes and comments combined, and a footer with the number of posts and platforms. See Social media. | Socials |
Banners
Section titled “Banners”| Banner | When it appears | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| No prompts configured | The project has no prompts and no answers yet. The banner reads “Set up AI prompts to start monitoring how models talk about your brand.” | Select View prompts and add prompts. See Prompts. |
| Share of Voice could not be calculated | Prompts exist but share of voice is 0 — either no answers were collected yet, or the current prompts do not mention your brand. | Wait for the next scan, or review your prompts with Go to Prompts. |
| Your first insights arrive {weekday} | The project has no insights yet. The banner reads “Insights are generated once a week from everything scanned in the previous seven days.” | Nothing — wait for the named day. See Insights. |
| Weekly insight generation is paused | The project has insights but nobody changed an insight status in the last seven days, so generation paused itself. The banner reads “We won’t add new insights until you act on the existing ones (apply, postpone or reject).” | Select Review insights, then apply, schedule, postpone, or reject an insight (the Contributor role cannot); generation resumes at the next weekly cycle. |
Once the project has insights, the dashboard shows no cadence line. The “Next insights: {weekday}” line sits on the Insights page, beside the date filter.
Help tooltips
Section titled “Help tooltips”The Competitor activity and Social media cards carry a “?” button that opens a short definition. The same tooltips appear on the other sections of the app.
Assistant
Section titled “Assistant”A round button with a speech-bubble icon sits at the bottom right of every project page. Select it to open Ask GripIQ, a panel that answers questions about the project you are looking at; on narrow screens it opens as a sheet. See Ask GripIQ.
