Concept
How GripIQ works
The building blocks of GripIQ: projects, brands, personas, channels, scans, and insights.
GripIQ watches how your brand shows up online — in AI assistant answers, in search results, on social media, and on competitor websites — and turns what it finds into recommendations.
Project
Section titled “Project”A project is your workspace. It owns everything you see in the app: brands, personas, prompts, keywords, tags, results, and insights. All pages sit under the project you selected in the header. You can belong to several projects and switch between them; see Switch projects.
Own brands and competitors
Section titled “Own brands and competitors”Every brand in a project is either an Own brand or a Competitor. Own brands are what GripIQ measures for you; competitors are the benchmark. Almost every metric — share of voice, rankings, engagement — compares the two groups. Each brand has its own page that brings its results from every channel together. See View your brands and competitors.
Personas
Section titled “Personas”A persona describes a type of customer: a bio, an intent, and demographic and psychographic details. Personas make generated prompts and keywords match the questions real customers ask. See Work with personas.
The four channels
Section titled “The four channels”| Channel | What it collects |
|---|---|
| Prompts | Answers from AI models (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) and from Google AI Mode to your prompts, with the brands mentioned, sentiment, and the web sources cited. |
| Keywords | Search engine results for your keywords: positions, search volume, CPC, and which brand owns each result. |
| Socials | Posts and engagement from the social accounts of your brands and competitors. |
| Web | Changes to the pages of monitored websites, summarised per change. They have their own Web section and also appear in the Competitors feed. |
Scans and the scan schedule
Section titled “Scans and the scan schedule”A scan is one scheduled collection run for a channel. All four channels follow the project’s scan interval: daily, weekly, monthly, or disabled. After each scan the next one is planned automatically. There is no button to start a scan yourself, and scans only run while the project has an active subscription. The Scan schedule card on the project settings page shows the interval, the item count per channel, and when the next scan is due. The Prompts, Keywords, Socials, and Web pages also show Data as of … · next scan … in their filter bar. Before a channel’s first scan that line reads Awaiting first scan. On the Answers tab of Prompts and on the Overview of Socials and Web, the page then shows First scan pending with the time of the next scan instead of an empty result.
Insights
Section titled “Insights”An insight is an AI-generated recommendation to improve your online presence. Insights are generated once a week, on Monday, from the data of the past week, read through your project context, including the personas of the project (name, bio, intent, and the demographic details that are set), and are grouped by channel (Web, Social, AI, Keywords) and rated by priority, impact, and effort. You act on them with Apply, Schedule, Postpone, or Reject (not available to the Contributor role). See Insights.
Text analysis
Section titled “Text analysis”Every collected answer and social post is analysed automatically for sentiment, tone, content pillar, and the brands mentioned. That analysis is what powers sentiment scores, share of voice, and the content-pillar charts. See Text analysis in the glossary.
Tags are your own labels on prompts and keywords. Every role can assign them; the Team Member and Team Admin roles can also create, edit, and delete them, and you can filter by them on the dashboard and on the Prompts and Keywords pages. See Organize prompts and keywords with tags.
Plans and quotas
Section titled “Plans and quotas”Your subscription sets how many brands, personas, prompts, keywords, insights, and team members a project may have. It also sets a daily allowance of assistant tokens for Ask GripIQ; when it is used up, the assistant is unavailable for the rest of the day and nothing else is affected. Current usage against those limits is on Settings → Subscription, where the assistant allowance shows as Assistant tokens per day. The numbers per plan are listed on Plans.
Ask GripIQ
Section titled “Ask GripIQ”A round button with a speech-bubble icon sits at the bottom right of every project page. It opens Ask GripIQ, an assistant that answers questions from the current project’s data — its prompts, keywords, socials, and insights — and from summaries of the project’s context documents. Every role can use it. It only sees the project you are looking at, and it can be wrong, so check anything you act on. See Ask GripIQ.
Account manager
Section titled “Account manager”Project settings are set up for you by GripIQ. Your team manages the rest itself, depending on its role:
- The Team Member and Team Admin roles can add personas and track or dismiss discovered brands, within the limits of your plan, and create and manage tags.
- The Team Admin role can also add and edit brands, add or edit a brand’s website and social accounts, and invite and remove team members and change their role on Settings → Team members.
To remove a brand, website, or social account, contact your account manager; see Team members and your account manager. Your account manager is shown on Settings → Subscription with a mail link — contact them for anything you cannot change yourself. Prompts and keywords you add yourself: see Add and manage prompts and Add and manage keywords.

Section titled “Where to find what”The navigation rail on the left holds one icon per section. Each section has its tabs at the top of the page.
